A typical winter lunch

Lunch is available between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Because we are located in the heart of Waterloo's vibrant high-tech area, most of our customers walk from their offices or worksites.

If you would like to order for more than two people, we would ask that you please call ahead, so that we can have your orders waiting for you. Sorry, no deliveries!

Sandwiches

All our sandwiches are served on your choice of white/whole-wheat kaiser buns or white/dark rye bread. We can also put mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, horseradish and swiss or havarti cheese on your sandwiches if you desire.

  • Cold Sandwiches:
    • Roast Beef
    • Roast Pork
    • Roast Turkey
    • Assorted Salami
    • Assorted Cold Cuts
    • Egg Salad
  • Hot Sandwiches:
    • Pork Schnitzel
    • Chicken or Turkey Schnitzel

Salads

We have a wide selection of salads for you to choose. They are available in small (8 oz / 236 mL), medium (16 oz / 473 mL) and large (32 oz / 946 mL) containers.

We like to mix up our selection of salads a bit, but we usually have the following salads available:

  • Coleslaw
  • Ham Salad
  • Homemade Potato
  • Penne Pasta with Feta Cheese
  • Rotini and Tomato

Soup/Stew

During the winter months, we also serve a variety of soups between Tuesday and Thursday, and Beef Stew on Friday. Our soups and stews are homemade by us every week using quality ingredients from our store, and no preservatives. Make sure to come early, though; they go fast!

We like to vary the type of soup that is available each day, so please call us if you are curious.

Drinks

We also have a variety of drinks for you to choose, including:

  • Bottled water
  • Cola
